The Takoma Park Silver Spring Youth Baseball & Softball Leagues were deeply saddened by the passing of long time TPSS Board Member Gordon Pavy. Gordon was a beloved and talented youth baseball coach and instructor. Every player who takes the field or attends a clinic does so on the shoulders of Gordon Pavy.  He was not just an amazing coach, but a compassionate, hard working human being who believed that baseball was a gateway to professional and personal development.  Our hearts go out to Gordon’s family and all who were touched by his love for the game.
