Dear Parent:

I hope that this letter finds you and your family well and you are excited about the upcoming TPSS softball season.  Despite the fact that the weather is getting chillier before you know it it will be spring and softball will be gearing up for another fantastic season.  In preparation for the spring season, TPSS Softball will team up with 5-Star Athletics  and Dynasty Baseball to offer our third annual winter clinics for players in the 2nd–8th grades.  The clinic instructors will be from 5-Star Athletics, the same organization that ran our pre-season clinics for the last few years. 

We could not be more excited about these partnerships, because they mean that all of our young athletes will have quality instruction and training to help them gear up for spring ball.  Our Pitching Clinic will start on Saturday, january 21 and run through Saturday, February 18th. Our Skills Clinic  will begin Saturday February 25 and run through Saturday March 25th. All sessions will be from 6:30pm-7:30pm. 

Each clinic will be held at Dynasty Baseball’s indoor facility, which is located at 15 Oglethorpe Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20011.  This is about a five minute drive from the Takoma Park Metro Station.  

Additional Clinic Information:

The fee for each clinic will be $75 for 5 weekly sessions, which includes gym rental, instructors, equipment, and insurance. This works out to about $15 per session— the cost of a large three topping pizza!  There are scholarships available so please inquire about this when you register. Register now.  

This is also a great opportunity to bring a friend who has been interested in playing softball in the past or is thinking about playing softball this spring. The clinics offer the chance to check it out and see if they would like it.  Plus, isn’t it fun to do things with friends?  Please do not hesitate to pass this information on to friends and neighbors, as word of mouth seems to be the most powerful way of spreading the word about our programming.
